This Saturday Pocklington have a big local derby at home to York (3.00 pm).

Both sides are looking for their first win, and though Pocklington did the double over their city rivals last season, they will be facing a new look York side as the Clifton Park outfit have recruited a host of new players in the summer.

The Panthers are at Dinnington and Pilgrims home to Hull Ionians.

There is an early start on Sunday with the clubhouse kitchen and bar open for the Ireland v Scotland World Cup game at 8.45 am. England v Tonga follows at 11.15 on the big screen and Pocklington U13s and U15s are planning to kick off their games against Driffield so they can finish in time to watch the international.

At 1.00 pm on Sunday afternoon Pocklington Colts entertain Bridlington.

Also on Sunday morning the new pavilion at Kilnwick Park will be open to view and guided tours of the building will explain the plans to complete the facilities.
