There is plenty happening at Percy Road on Saturday with the Pocktoberfest beer and music festival from noon and the Panthers scheduled to play Otley in a merit league game at 3.00 pm. But the England v France in the clubhouse is now off, although the Ireland game at 11.45 is still on at the moment.
The World Cup is also well represented amongst the 20 beers in the Pocktoberfest marquee. The beers on offer include Swing Low (Fullers), Sweet Chariot (Marstons), Big Hit IPA (Arkells) and Rising Scrum (Wadworth) - all specially brewed to celebrate the World Cup. And if director of rugby Tony Penn is feeling a bit homesick on his return to Pock after meeting up with his All Black mates in Japan, then he should head to the tent where he will finds two local brews crafted with New Zealand hops - Hop Studio's Extra Session Pale and North Riding Brewery's NZ Pale.
The 1st XV is at Morley, with the bus for players and supporters leaving at 12 noon. And there is a full programme of mini and junior rugby on Sunday as below.
