There's not a lot of on-pitch action, but still plenty happening at Pocklington RUFC this weekend.

The 1st XV have a week off league rugby, giving them a chance to recuperate and regroup, so the Pilgrims are due to take centre stage with their encounter with York Cavaliers (2.15). In the Percy Road clubhouse is the alternative attraction of England v Australia live on Sky on the big screen (3.00).

On Sunday the junior teams play away as the clubhouse stages the club's annual Sportsmans Lunch, which has raised thousands for charity over the years. Malcolm Lord and Kevin Connelly top the bill, and the post lunch auction of sporting memorabilia and promises includes a signed shirt from the 2017 British Lions, plus days shooting, racing, a supercar racing drive and England international tickets amongst the valuable items on offer.

The U6 - U12 minis are all due to be training at Kilnwick Park, the U13s & U14s are looking for a pool fixture, and the U15s, U16s and Colts all have a week off.
