After a free week, Pocklington return to North Premier action when league leaders Preston Grasshoppers come to Percy Road on Saturday (2.15 pm).

Preston are one of the north's bigger clubs and have a massive playing budget, having invested heavily in returning to a higher level. They include recent Premiership and Championship players in their ranks and top the table by 20 points, but Pocklington gave them a real test in their first encounter in Lancashire at the end of October, Pock dominating the first half before Preston pulled away after the break.

Wilberfoss farmer Ed Liversidge is in line to make his senior debut off the bench.

The Panthers have a rearranged friendly at Malton and the Pilgrims are scheduled to go to Barton.

On Sunday the U16s host Selby (11 am), while the Colts continue their Yorkshire League championship quest away to Selby on Sunday afternoon.
