Saturday's opening game derby against Bridlington is sposored by the Diogenes, the ecletic group of former players and supporters who come together periodically to have a good time and raise money for the club. And they are being supported in kind by Guy Falkingham and a barrel of his excellent Yorkshire Brewing Company's Diogenes Bitter.

At the same time, the new club president, Paul Rhodes, and his wife, Claire, have invited all wives, girlfriends, partners and mothers to a Ladies Day, sponsored by Sustainable Food Chains Ltd.

However, the scheduled Friday night Colts game v Pocklington School will not now go ahead due to the school side's additional commitments.
