Pocklington have another big North Premier game on Saturday when they welcome Harrogate to Percy Road. As the clocks have gone back the kick-off time is now 2.15 pm for the winter months.

Pocklington have played some good rugby against the odds in recent weeks, including their win over Ilkley in their last home game. But they will again have to be on their mettle against Yorkshire Cup holders, Harrogate, who currently sit third in the table and have always been higher up the rankings than Pocklington - for many years Pocklington first team's fixture was against Harrogate seconds.

Georg Wagstaff did not make it last Saturday but his thumb injury is improving, Ben Rees might make the bench, Ben Thoy is back from holiday and late inclusion Jonty Peters came through unscathed last Saturday after a month out with a hamstring strain.

The Pilgrims also face a testing fixture when they go to Withernsea on Saturday. The packed Sunday programme includes home games for the U13s (v Guisborough 11 am), U14s (v Huddersfield 11.00 am), U16s (Billingham 12 noon), followed by the much awaited Colts fixture against Selby (1.00 pm).
