Pocklington 1st XV have another Saturday off league rugby as this is a cup weekend and Pocklington have already exited the Yorkshire Shield. Pocklington's next league game is on Saturday week (1 February) when they head up the B1246 for their local derby at Driffield. The Panthers are scheduled to go to Otley in the merit league, but there is rugby at Percy Road as the table topping Pilgrims are at home to Grimsby in the east merit table (2.15 pm kick off).
There is a full programme of mini and junior rugby on Sunday. The minis are due to entertain Bridlington and Ionians and the U16s host Scarborough on Sunday morning (11.00 am), that game is followed by the Colts entertaining Huddersfield in the Yorkshire Premier League at 1.00 pm.

A quintet of players who have come through Pocklington's mini and junior sides are currently involved with Yorkshire age group squads.
Second row Will Dixon, from Stamford Bridge, and back row Harry Cartwright, from Holme-on-Spalding Moor, were in the Yorkshire pack that went down 16-29 to Lancashire in the U18 Roses match at Penrith. They were followed by Pocklington's Billy Spruyt who propped for Yorkshire Blues U16s as they lost out narrowly 24-33 to Lancashire at Burnage RFC.
Ben Maycock, from Barmby Moor, is in the Yorkshire U17s training squad following a successful recent trial at York, and Millington's Alex Todd, now at university in Newcastle, is in the Yorkshire U20s squad for the forthcoming U20 County Championship.
