Pocklington again venture into unchartered waters as they travel to Lancashire to meet Rossendale for the first time.

Rossendale rugby club is named after the district, not the town of Rawtenstall, where the club is based. When the two sides first met back in October it was a close, high scoring encounter, Rossendale edging clear late on to win five tries to four, 38-29. For Saturday, Pocklington have back row Jack Holbrough back after returning from America. The bus is at 10.00 am.

Last Saturday's postponed home encounter with Kirkby Lonsdale is rescheduled for 24 February.

Pocklington Panthers have a week off, but the Pilgrims are at home to Hull Ionians (2.15 pm).

On Sunday there are no games scheduled in the morning - the minis are at Malton and junior sides on tour in the North-East - but on Sunday afternoon there is a big top of the table Colts clash as Pocklington Colts entertain local rivals Beverley in the Yorkshire League (1.00 pm).
